Open items

Open items sorted by due date, customers and vendors apart

Import the open item lists as CSV and let the due dates sort themselves. Overdue customers become a reminder, overdue vendors become a payment. Balance and the sum of open items sit side by side, so a difference stays visible.

Customers and vendors in one place

The customer list brings receivables, the vendor list brings liabilities. Both hang on the personal accounts from the journal. Overdue customers become a reminder letter, overdue vendors become a SEPA file.

Ageing by due date

Items sort into bands by due date. So you see at a glance what has been open since when and what should be written to or paid next.

How it works

  1. 1

    Import the list

CSV with semicolons or commas. You map the columns once.

  2. 2

    Look at the ageing

Due, 30 days, 60 days, older. Overdue items stand out.

  3. 3

    Reminder or payment

A customer becomes a reminder letter, a vendor is prepared for SEPA approval.

  4. 4

    Approve and hand out

Only after valid approval are the reminder file or the bank file created.

Questions

Where do the personal accounts come from?

From the journal. Customers and vendors are there, the open items hang on those accounts.

What happens with a difference?

Balance and the sum of open items are shown side by side. A difference stays visible instead of being quietly written off.

Does a missing tax rate stay empty?

Yes. Only open items with a tax rate go into the BMD preparation. The rest stays open.
